This stand works for what I was looking for – a stand for my Anthropologie hanging chair. The hook it came with didn’t work for my particular needs (the loop on the chair is very large) but it works out because the loop just goes right over the top.

I wasn’t sure I should get this style for my indoor chair swing, but I’m glad I did. I needed to get help with putting the 2 bolts in as at 68 I wasn’t strong enough to lift it up a bit while also inserting the bolts. My friend put it together in minutes. It’s super sturdy, and doesn’t take up too much floor area. I weigh 240 and it holds me without griping! Looks awesome against my Booth Bark Wayfair wallpaper and my Wayfair area rug! For an indoor swing, this is the perfect size and at my weight and age I’m not worried about it holding me safely at all!

Perfect! It ended up hanging my chair lower than I was thinking but works for me. It came wrapped like crazy and was a pain to cut off. Beware the hardware came stuffed in the connection point and required something to move it out (I stuck my scissors in the slot and wiggled it up and out). However once everything was unwrapped it was easy to install. I did have to do a little jiggling to get the bolts to align.
I liked that this had a bolt that goes through the top of the post so I don’t have to worry about a sodered hook that might come off. It does have a loop that slides through the slot so the posts don’t turn and I thin you could also attach a rope from your swing to it if you want (my swing sometimes catches it).
Currently its inside because f the weather but I may move it outside once it warms up. There are no rubber “feet” on this to keep it a little off the ground.
