Features
Approximate how much area you want to shade. Triangle, square, or rectangle depending on the number of existing poles, roofs, trees, concrete walls, etc. Use cable wires to connect the shade sail to the hardware if necessary. If you don’t use cable wires, keep a 0.5 – 2 ft space between D rings and poles to give space for the hardware kits that come with adjustable turnbuckles to tighten & create tension.
Edges are finished with heavy-duty double-layered reinforced stitched seams, to prevent frayed edges and keep the shade sail in shape, stainless D rings are attached to each corner for easy installation, and corners are constructed with an extra amount of stitched seams to maximize the strength of D rings.
Measurement is taken from corner to corner. Edges are made slightly curved based on precisely calculated radian to help the shade sail stay tight and neat after installation and to prevent the shade sail from sagging in the middle. If you prefer straight edges, please contact us for a custom order.
A shade sail is made of 100% Non-Recycled 200 GSM HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), blocks up to 95% of harmful UV, woven knitted, breathable fabric allows water and breeze to go through which prevents pooling water and catches less wind. UV inhibitors are now added during the manufacturing of the shade cloth and quality shade cloths now generally comes with a 5-year UV degradation warranty. Made to last under sun exposure, resistant to UV, water & fading.

I got this sail shade in red and desert sand (mustard?). They are perfect!! Strong connectors, well sewn, and a perfect thickness. It blocks light rain but allows snow to melt through it. (I also got the green and it was WAY too lime. Unfortunately, I forgot to return it within the window so I am stuck with it.) I would certainly buy the red and/or desert sand again.

Our front porch is west facing, therefore almost unusable in the afternoon. I use the sunshade like a rod pocket curtain and it is a fantastic Sun block. The fabric let’s in filtered light and helps control wind on the porch. Perfect!

The shade sail from Royal Shade is perfect for our outdoor paved area. It is made of very sturdy fabric and is the perfect shape for our area. The color sand is understated and looks like the color sand. It was very easy to put up and can be taken down with ease. I highly recommend this shade sail.

The shade sail came on time and well packaged. It winter in my area so not able to put sail up til around March but from what I can tale this will be a fantastic addition to our summer fun. It came in a really nice beige color that will reflect the sun.
