We are very happy with this purchase. It is working perfectly to secure our umbrella from falling over. We filled the base with water- but you could also use sand. the plastic seems very well made and so it will last through the seasons.

This is a VERY STURDY umbrella base , is actually a lot bigger than I thought. But I’m sure when fill with water or sand , it will not be going anywhere. I set it up inside to take pictures since it is sooo windy outside.

So far so good, haven’t had a chance to put it out yet, but think it will do what I need. It’s light and very mobile. It has wheels which I’m sure will be useful when there is an umbrella in it. As a light stand, I am sure it will need to be filled to make sure it stays down.
