The ventilated roosting area provides air circulation plus light and includes two roosting bars, 2 nesting areas separated by a divider, and an under-coop removable, galvanized, tray for easy clean-up and rust prevention. Crafted from a fine weather-resistant variety of fir tree lumber and coated with a protective, pet-safe, stain with green asphalt-coated roof panels to protect your chickens from inclement weather. Both large front coop doors and the chicken-run access door feature bolt locks and galvanized wire mesh to guard against predators. Spacious enough for 2 – 3 hens, this chicken coop features an integrated planter bay for your herb garden, flowers, or potted plants.

We bought this to use to keep our indoor cat safe outside so she could enjoy the bunnies, chipmunks and birds without harming them or having the dogs or hawks harm her. It is perfect for that – once you introduce her to it slowly – she loves it.
The item shipped fast, came in good condition. The instructions were clear and it was easy to put together (except the roof was a little more difficult than the instructions indicated). We put a litter box up top so she can ‘go’ privately and planted cat nip in the planter. Great purchase for our needs.
