This turned out to be a great purchase. I didn’t think a flame guard would be necessary on our fire pit because it is in a sheltered situation. I bought it “just in case”. Even in minimal wind it made a big difference in how the fire pit worked and was a good safety feature with guests close by. Easy to put together.

Love the Square Tempered Glass Fire Pit wind guard. It fits perfectly in our fire pit table. It arrived well packaged and was easy and quick to put together – about 20 minutes. For reference, our fire pit table is by Endless Summer and has an opening of exactly 17.5″ squared. The wind guard fits inside, to the edge. The packaging indicates the exact measurements are 16.5″ but that’s only because the corner fasteners create a slight gap between the panels of glass – as they should for air circulation. The finished product is indeed 17.5″. We look forward to enjoying a cozy warm fire on cool summer nights, and beyond! Thank you Wayfair and American Fireglass.

Perfect fit for our fire table that has a 17.2” square rock tray, the 17.5” glass with removable “feet” fit around it perfectly!!! Keeps our toddler from grabbing hot rocks out as well as the wind…provides a great S’more roasting ledge

Keeps the flame upward. It’s added safety with kids around because the flame goes upward instead of spreading out where flame space would be unpredictable. Looks great too.
