Hdpe material stand – made of heavy-duty HDPE plastic to withstand impact and constant movement, a special process coating makes it water-resistant and weather-resistant. It does the job well, the only tricky bit is filling each section of the base with sand…even when using a funnel. Each takes approx a 50Lb bag of sand. No complaints other than the footprint of all 4 pieces is on the large side.

Easy assemble, quick fill with wateryou are set! The pieces are clearly markedfit in the coordinating umbrella. Once set the base does fill a substantial space, but is worth it, umbrella does not move.

These blocks work great. The only problem I had was trying to fill with sand. The sand was kinda wet and wouldn’t go through the funnel. I bought play sand I needed dry sand so instead I filled with water. Was real easy and weight enough to hold umbrella. Probably end up being easier in winter to drain.

Great, sturdy base! It was pretty easy to fill up with sand using a funnel.The umbrella is definitely going no where with all of this weight.It’s really big so I need to work out where to put it that we won’t be tripping over it, so keep this in mind depending on where you want it.
