So simple to set up and takes up much less storage space than a traditional umbrella. We really like the ease of use and multiple positions this umbrella can be set at.

I love this umbrella!Obviously, it’s not your typical umbrella. It’s flat and really works well for what I got it for. It is perfect for shading me while I’m doing projects in the garden or giving my dogs baths. At least a 10 degree difference when I’m in the shade it provides and can make a hot day in the garden a lot easier on me. I can move it around conveniently as I’m using a screw in umbrella base when I’m outside in the yard. I’ll be using a weighted base for inside the pool area. It’s very diverse, bends to tilt easily and stores in the down position nicely. A handy shade spot wherever and whenever you need it!

The umbrella comes with a few caveats so make sure to read before you buy. In order to open and close it, you have to spread out the shade like a fan and snap it into a small plastic holder. Difficult to do if you are shorter than the height of where you keep it and it takes two hands and a lot of strength.
Then, there is a ball and knob used to hand-tighten the shade to where you want it angled. However, as soon as a breeze comes, it may not hold and the shade tilts to gravity. In order to close it, you have to undo the ball and knob, unhook the plastic holder, and dismantle everything.
The fabric appears high quality and would be okay if you plan on never closing it, if you don’t mind keeping it tiled to one side.
