Very heavy and sturdy. Works well with my 11 foot umbrella and is easy to move since it has wheels. I do have to bungee cord the umbrella if it gets too windy, but that’s going to be with any umbrella and/or stand.

I ordered 2 of these for my market umbrellas.They are really heavy and sturdy, solid quality.I read the reviews about umbrellas falling over in the wind, but that must be a serious gust.These are really heavy metal.They are nice to look at, and the wheels roll and lock well.Definitely recommend!

I am very happy with my purchase. It is attractive, heavy duty and very sturdy. There are 4 wheels which are heavy duty also. The wheels roll really well on pavers or carpet. Each wheel has its own locking mechanism so the stand won’t roll if you don’t want it to. Each wheel is securely attached to the base with 4 heavy duty screws. There are predrilled holes in the base for the screws. Base can be used with/without the wheels. The wheels tuck under the base so you won’t stub your toe.

Works well, just what we wanted… TIP: would recommend you DON’T follow the assembly instructions and put the pole on the stand first… do that last after you install the caster wheels.The wheels install easier as you can leave the stand upside down, put them on and then put on its side and attach the pole.
