We received this chair a few days ago. The instructions were clear, and the assembly was pretty easy. We decided to stain the wood with teak oil to keep the color that perfectly matches our other patio furniture. The chair is comfortable, although the seat is deep and requires a lumbar pillow. A bigger pillow would actually work much better, especially for shorter people. The pillow we received with the chair was dirty. The customer services responded promptly to our claim and we were promised a replacement arriving shortly.

Our home has several pieces of teak Danish furniture because we appreciate the simplicity of design and the quality of the Danish craftsmen.We liked the simple lines of the Bancroft Patio chairs realizing they would not be made in Denmark.The teak is sustainably grown and machined well.We opted to sand and oil our chairs to keep the warm teak color that will tie the new deck furniture to our great room furniture.
Assembly seems fairly straight forward as I loosely assembled one before taking it apart to sand and oil. The directions for installing the rope seating had to be read several times.We’ll repost the review with pictures once the oil is dry and we do a final assembly.

Very solid chair. Comfortable. I could see if someone had shorter legs it might not be a good fit for them, feet might not touch the ground. Super easy to put together, no parts issue, directions easy to follow.

These are nice and sturdy. Well made. Color looks the same in person. Just make sure you check the dimensions.They’re super tall (back). Comfortable for all heights, but I’m sure a super tall person would really appreciate them.
