They are sheer but still filter enough sun to help. A “gauzy” material but not thin. Very happy with how they look. Lots of compliments!
Update.. we had a bad storm and one of panels got dirty. I washed in machine gentle cycle and hung it to dry. It came out beautiful!

Great for my outdoor project. They are quite sheer but provide just enough cover from the glare of the sun. My screened porch is quite exposed to my neighbor’s yard and I needed just a little privacy without sacrificing the breeze. I have ordered additional curtains to “double up” to provide a little more privacy. I’ve had them up through several heavy rains and winds and so far they have held up well – no issues with snags or seams.

Perfect for outdoors, sheer but just enough sun block. Our first heavy storm came thru 24 hours after I hung them. They held up well in heavy rain, strong wind, and lightning. I hung them on pvc pipe that I spray painted black. They are light enough that the pvc worked well. I would definitely order these again.
