Galvanized Steel Potting Bench

Perfect for my pottingbench. Things below dont get wet!

I am planning on using this outside. It arrived in a box that was in fine shape. The shelves were not perfect, but they were fine for our purpose. We plan to use this next to the bar-b-que to hold a few back porch items. Since it is going to be exposed to the elements, and the website says it is not for outdoor use, I decided to coat the shelves and legs with acrylic varnish. I began by washing all pieces with TSP. I was unable to remove some finger prints left from the manufacture. I finally resorted to Brasso to remove the fingerprints. I was left with a fairly uniform metal to spray. I sprayed two coats of lacquer and am very happy with the results. I am hoping this will extend the life of the steel work bench. It should be noted, placing the bottom shelf on the lowest setting gives you 24″ clearance to the top of the shelving unit.

This is my second steel work bench.I use it to display plants on the patio.It is solid and has a nice clean look.Very very easy to assemble!

Love it. Large work surface & esy to assemble. Will use as garden table & extr serving table for parties. Only thing that would make it better is if it had wheels!

I ordered this shelf to go with the potting bench I also ordered and arranged them in an L-shape below our deck.This one also has a good size work surface so it will provide ample work space for potting and other outside projects.I really like it.I helped my husband assemble it – gloves are needed because most of the edges are sharp, so would not want to use it with small children around.But for myself, it will be great!
