So much better than having an umbrella. We love this thing and are thinking about getting one more. Great price, more effort to put up than an umbrella, but not really hard and it’s worth the effort because once it’s up, you don’t have to worry if there’s wind or rain or not. It’s not going to break or fall down if a gust of wind or rain happen. It’s great.

This specific tarp is 16x16x16 andis going to be used to go over our pool/ for privacy as well-This large size should be able to create a good deal of shade. We do not have any trees in our back yard so this is going to work just perfect!

From what I can tell it is very well made. The tie-ons are hefty and well sewn. I recommend purchasing on the smaller side than you think you need and then use extension lines to help position it. I bought one that was way too big which leaves no flexibility and no elegant way to take up the slack.
