I bought two 12×8 tan shade sails for my back patio which gets a lot of morning sun.I cannot eat lunch on the patio without an umbrella of some type.This was a great solution.My son is very handy and installed two pressure treated 4x4x12 beams at the edge of my patio then we installed the hardware on the beams and the house.He also rigged a pully that I can retract the shade sail with parachute cord and just hook the carabiners to the beams when I am not using it at night.We also installed solar light caps on the beams.It took us about 4 hours to complete the project.It works great.

If you want to save a whole lot of money this Shade sail is great alternative for a roof on your deck. I recommend buy a Shade Sail. These are great for having your deck shaded and it gives your deck a bright eye catching look. They come in all colors. I am going to buy 2 more for another deck.

Upgrading this review to five stars! It took a bit of positioning to get it right — now it is just right ))) We needed shade from the evening sun, around our hot tub. This sun sail seemed a good solution — easy to put up, or take down when shading is unnecessary.I’m hoping the fold marks hang out, but it looks pretty decent even as is. No problem ))

I was so excited to receive this sun shade. It has strong stitching around the grommets for reinforcement. As you can see in the pictures we attached ropes to one end to attach to tree. There are NO ropes or strings that come with this product. We live in a very windy area and so far it’s holding up great!
