We needed something to help shade our patio / deck space as it gets direct sun for 6+ hours each day. So as you can imagine, it’s quite warm there even with a good breeze. This shade has already helped lower the heat impact on the porch as well as the windows / doors looking out onto it as well. The material is thicker than I expected, and it seems to hold up well even with regular, strong sunlight. The metal D-rings on the ends are sturdy, the seams strong. I expect it to last many seasons.

We are using this for outdoor shade area for our ducks and chickens. This will provide great air movement but great overhead shading for the pets so they dont get too hot. The light comes through but provides excellent shade. Looking forward to the pond that we are creating underneath it. This is an excellent addition for our animal babies. Absolutely recommend!

This canopy shade is like a huge kite!!! Its really well made and provides shade in my backyard where I need it.
You do need to secure it at the four corners with rope or bungee cords. There are several sizes to choose from, but the 12 foot br 12 foot size is perfect for me!
