Description

Easy to grow small palm features green fronds that add life and beauty to any room. Ponytail palm adds instant tropical elegance to your home or office. Indoor palms add instant tropical beauty to any room. Ponytail palm is a popular decorator choice for homes because of its beautiful large airy fronds, yet shorter height. Set a ponytail palm into a table and it will become an instant focal point. The frondy shape of this houseplant is like a living piece of art. Ponytail Palm is an ideal houseplant for any home, apartment, or office with the right light. Its lush form and green fronds make this houseplant a great housewarming gift. NASA’s clean air study concluded that houseplants promote better air quality in your home. The study by NASA found that houseplants actively remove chemical pollutants from the air. All plants help purify the air by removing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. Here’s a tip: NASA researchers recommend at least one houseplant for every 100 square feet to improve the air quality in your home. Grow ponytail palm in indirect bright light. Don’t place your ponytail palm in the direct sunlight. Ponytail palm likes to be watered regularly but hates soggy soil. Water when the soil feels dry. The frequency of watering will depend on your ponytail palm’s pot size, how much light it gets, and the indoor temperature of your home. Like most houseplants, ponytail palm also likes humidity. Boost humidity for your ponytail palm by placing it in humid rooms (your bathroom), place a small humidifier nearby, or group it near other houseplants. Fertilize ponytail palm a few times a year, in spring and summer, to keep it healthy. Use a general-purpose fertilizer labeled for houseplant use. Follow the directions on the fertilizer packaging. Don’t overfeed your ponytail palm. Report your ponytail palm when it becomes root-bound. A well-draining potting soil mixture is recommended when repotting. In summer, ponytail palms can be grown outdoors in a high light (but not full sun) location. Ponytail Palm makes a lush focal point for planters and garden beds and borders. Bring plants inside before frost. Costa farms’ ponytail palm is not intended for human or animal consumption. Keep this plant out of reach of children and pets.

Love this, it’s beautiful and came thru shipping wonderfully, not sure how to get the plastic and paper out from underneath it but I will figure it out.

I bought two and they’re both beautiful and healthy. I was really impressed with how they were packaged. Everything stayed in tact, without damaging the plants…even with the delivery person dumping both boxes on their sides. They’re perfect for the spaces I wanted them for.

Very nice plant! Packed well soil still moist. Large & healthy! Nice pot with a stand. The only thing is the pot does not have a drain hole. The plant is pottedin a plastic pot that fits in the ceramic pot so it will be able to drain somewhat.
    Very happy with is product.
UP DATE! I received this plant at the end of Nov ’20 & it still looks great & healthy!

This live Costa Ponytail plant is very pretty. It is 12 inches tall, comes in a very nice white pot. The pot is ceramic, heavy for its size. I like that the plant came with a stand, easy to put together. The palm plant was packed very well, because my package was a little damaged. My plant pot was not broken. The plant had a bamboo stick with it. The light for the plant can be high or low, nice indoor plant.

Absolutely gorgeous plant! It easily stands 14-16″ tall. Very full and lush. Packaging was terrific to ensure that it arrived in great condition. The plat was surrounded by a bamboo frame to protect the plant that then can be used as a stand/base for the pot, and a tall rod to keep the box from being crushed. The base was wrapped in plastic wrap to make sure the soil was moist. The simple white pot and the bamboo stand are very clean/modern and will match about any decor. So happy to have one of the palm trees in the house again!

First up, the grower selling this, Costa Farms, we’ve had NOTHING but great experience with. Actually, quite a few of the plants in our landscaping are from them, just purchased at our local home improvement store. This ponytail palm arrived quickly and in immaculate condition! It was VERY well packaged. Actually, we had to be careful in opening the package seeing as the brown paper was around it so tightly that we almost pulled the plant out of it’s black pot. It’s in a black pot with drainage holes that you then place in the white, ceramic planter (which does NOT have drainage holes). As you can see, we have ours out on our rear patio and we’ll actually be planting it come spring. The only “gotcha” is that, at least for ours, it’s getting close to needed repotted. If we weren’t planning to put it in the ground I’d be changing it out to a larger planter ASAP to allow it plenty of room to keep growing.
