The colored fire glass ranges from ½” to 1” in size and is treated to tolerate extreme temperatures up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit without melting or burning; compatible with both natural gas and propane fire pits. Not only does the glass look beautiful in your fire pit, but it can also be used for vase fillers, arts and crafts, and even planter beds. The reusable plastic jar makes it easy to store when not in use, too. Crushed Fire Glass is sold in 10LB jars, which is enough glass to cover the base of the fire bowl. To cover the burner completely, we recommend buying two 10LB jars.
