I knew the space I wanted to fill, and when I found this potting station I knew it would look perfect in there. Before assembling,I painted everything except the top and then stained that and also stained the painted parts. My wonderful husband created the nice level area and we raised it up just a bit by putting it on pavers. It is exactly what I wanted and so sturdy!I’m super happy with the outcome. It was worth all the hours of work and prep.

This is my second potting bench I have bought. I moved so could not take my old one. This bench is far more superior than my last. The quality is excellent. Definitely stain it before putting it together.

We turned this potting bench into a beverage area for our porch. We had searched for a while and this bench was by far the most sturdy.Extremely pleased with how this turned out.

This well made table has stood the test of time and served us well. It is outside right now enduring another winter in Illinois!

Very sturdy table, with good working height: table top is 34 inches.
I appreciate that the container is a solid standard container with a lid (Rubbermaid BRUTE).
I had read other reviewers recommending painting/staining the table, so before assembling I sanded all parts and gave them two coats of outdoors paint (light blue).
The drawings for assembling were easy to follow, and it took me under one hour to complete (tools: hammer and wrench). I mounted all visible bolts from the from side, with the nuts to the back of the furniture.
After assembling I discovered that the lid for the container cannot be used when the container is in position under the table. I’ve therefore decided to have the container resting on the bottom shelf.
Pros: Good value for money
Cons: Nothing

So happy that I ordered this potting table! It’s very well made and easy to put together. I choose this one from the prior review and glad I did. Turned this into an outdoor beverage bar and it’s perfect!!

I purchased this potting bench for my mother who is an avid gardener. Excellent construction and easy to assemble. The bare wood allows for customization. She chose a light stain for the top and a grey-tinted stain for the legs. Tip: Add an additional piece of wood to widen the legs to support the casters.

This Potting Table was perfect for my needs. It is cleverly designed in my opinion, with that plastic removable bin and the slat to brush excess soil into. Then it slides out for cleaning and has a lid for storage in the winter months. However be aware that the wood in not treated in any way. I couldn’t bring it inside for the winter. The wood got a kind of mold on it, anyway the wood was blackish.
Suggestion: Treating the wood before you assemble would be wise.

The potting bench arrived ahead of schedule. It was well packed in two boxes and took about 15 minutes to assemble. I put two coats of clearcoat Woodsweather finish on it. This summer I’m going to use it as a patio bar. By removing the two inserts on top the heavy duty grey tub can be filled with ice andused for chilling beverages. Stemware and mixers can go on the top shelf. This fall I’ll use it as a potting bench. As an added bonus the lid is included for the grey tub. So when I dig up my elephant ears I can put them in peat moss in the tub and bring the tub in for the winter. It’s a sturdy bench and I think it will wear well.
Cons: I wish it was on casters to make it easy to roll out to sweep up the inevitable leaves that will accumulate around it.
