I really like the way this looks- and that the propane tank is hidden several feet from the little gas fire pit.I am going to enlarge the side “handle” on one side so I can reach in to turn the gas on instead of having to lift the whole thing off the tank to access the valve.

Very nice and attractive. It is a little darker as other reviews said, but is a nice addition to the patio fire pit area.It should protect the tank good from the elements. I wish the tank base was made of a material that would not rust.

VERY good quality. A bit heavy, but not too bad at all. It’s darker than the pics, but in a very nice way. It comes with a metal platform that is raised and has adjustable feet, you set the propane tank on the platform then set the cover on top; RUN YOUR GAS LINE UNDERNEATH THE PLATFORM! By doing that, you can sit the cover flush onto the platform. I keep my propane tank in the on position with the regulator set at my desired strength, then I put the cover on and open and close my gas shutoff valve (on the outside) when we want to run the fire pit. That way there’s no need to lift the cover on and off all the time (until the tank runs out). Hope that my tips help you. Highly recommended!!
