Blue Mattison Birdbath

I LOVE this birdbath… so much so that I bought a second one for the front of our home and one for my sister in Oregon.Aesthetically this had me at “hello!”It has an old-world sense about it… the color is perfect.. it is lightweight and easily placed into taller gardens where the birds and pollinators can access/enjoy. Easily moved to other areas of the property and blends beautifully into the landscape adding an artistic nod. It can be a challenge to get it on level ground with the 3 legs unless you have a level patio you are putting it on.In the garden, I have to work a bit to find the perfect spot (yes! I like level! :)I have had many birdbaths over the years, including those with a fountain… it was always a challenge to keep them clean or move them depending on the material they were made from.. some had even broken due to wind and weight… so great to have something unique, beautiful and easily moved and maintained.

Love it. It is everything I wanted it to be…the bowl is deep, the rim is wide enough for the birds to perch and the whole birdbath is nicely weighted.

I researched for the perfect bird bath.This is it.It’s made of iron, and well seated and sturdy.It has the perfect scroll work, curly, to match my historical home.The green verdigris is distressed perfectly.I have it on the south side of the house corner, surrounded by a small rock garden of pretty flowers along with Wayfair’s statue called “Basking in God’s Glory” with a little girl with outstretched arms with 4 birds on them.They complement each other perfectly.The bowl is super big, with 2 cute iron birds sitting on the rim.Adorable.This will be stored in the garage in the winter, however.I added a solar disk that has 4 different fountains that spout up from the bath.Neighbors love it.Thank you so much!

Nicer than I expected ! Great depth in bath, very well made, sturdy construction. Thought it might be top heavy and a bit tippy but not at all. Base very sturdy and well balanced.

Well made accessory to add a little victorian appeal to an urban garden. It is a combination of cast and welded sheet metal with a faux patina that mimics a well weathered painted cast iron bird bath. It is faily light weight so it can be relocated easily. It is just under waist height and will not dominate ornamental settings while offering just the right balance as a functional bird bath or center piece.
