This fountain was to take the place of a very large tree in our center landscaping. It sits in a bed of stones which we also used to fill the column so it could have weight to resist the wind. Also covered the base with a layer of stones. People think it’s ceramic and we have received so many compliments on it. After about a month we added a small solar pump which attracted so many birds. We love it enough it’s moving to our new house with us this week!

At first the birds stayed away from the bird bath, but they have sense come around and all the birds drink from it. We even have a few new birds coming to splash in it.
Loving how sturdy yet lightweight it is. I can clean it easily and don’t have to worry about strong winds moving it about. It’s a win-win.

This bird bath is very light weight but it looks very heavy and elegant. You can fill. the base with sand. And it won’t rust. Still too cold to introduce to the birds but they are going to love it.
