This thing is heavy and huge, but it’s great for building a nice large fire. I’m not sure how the black paint finish will hold up over time, but the dish is incredibly sturdy and should last a long time.

This will be the second firepit I have ordered; we moved and the new owners loved it so much they just had to have it.The finish does chip a little bit, and the drain hole is a bit small so it can get plugged with charcoal debris (it rains a lot here).We were surprised that the base is separate from the bowl, but it does not diminish the aesthetic nor functionality.However, its elegant design and large shape is essential for a proper fire.
