At first it looked smaller than I had imagined it because it was meant for a minimum 7-8 feet away view. The clear, precise display, however, dispelled that concern. Very attractive outdoor thermometer. Comparing to our plastic outdoor thermometer that is in the sun, this one appears to be accurate. I chose this one because it offered both Centigrade and Fahrenheit readings along with the hygrometer. Check the measurements before ordering, is is not huge but the glass front and black lettering make for clear viewing. Solid readings throughout the winter this year.
