Approximate how much area you want to shade. Triangle, square, or rectangle depending on the number of existing poles, roofs, trees, concrete walls, etc. Use cable wires to connect the shade sail to the hardware if necessary. If you don’t use cable wires, keep a 0.5 – 2 ft space between d rings and poles to give space for the hardware kits that come with adjustable turnbuckles to tighten & create tension.
Edges are finished with heavy-duty double-layered reinforced stitched seams, which prevent frayed edges and keep the shade sail in shape, stainless D rings are attached to each corner for easy installation, and corners are constructed with an extra amount of stitched seams to maximize the strength of D rings.

This sail was exactly what we needed. We have a carriage house next to our driveway that is under restoration and will eventually provide safe parking for our cars. Until then, this sail will provide a safe cover for my car. Will add another photo after it stops raining.

The sunshade was packaged well and arrived in a timely manner. There was no hardware provided, but this allows options for hanging. Especially if chosen to hang with multiple pieces, or if it was placed in an area where the fit was exact, one would not need extra string. It saves keeps waste to a minimum. The fabric is an all weather texture similar to a patio furniture cover. It should last multiple seasons and provide a weatherproof cover.

Very impressed with this shade sail by Royal Shades. Itsa grey 16′ x 20′ rectangle. The craftmanship is superb. The edges are well made with heavy duty reinforced stitched seams, that are extra-stitched in the corners for added strength. The D rings come attached in the corners. I love the options that Royal Shades offer such as the triangle, square and rectangle shade sail as well as fencing and private shade screens. Would definitely recommend. We be putting mine up as soon as I have the posts concreted in the ground. Posts are not included.

 Super excited to have this bad boy installed! Shopping was really fast on this item. I was hesitant to order because I wasnt sure how it would look. (Previously ordered a rugit was nothing like the photosdescription)but it has definitely exceed my expectations. Previous reviews left by people is what made me decide to give it a shot and Im not disappointed. Will update my review with more photos, once it has been installed.

Just what we needed!!The original sun shade that came with the pergola kept coming off due to wind so this replacement has worked perfect.It ties down at corners so it seems much more secure.The color is much better too!

This shade sail is great quality. It is very heavy. I feel like it will last a couple years at least in the south Texas sun down here. Will be installed over my raised bed garden area to shield plants from the relentless heat.

Put together really well.I’m adding a picture of the stitching on the connector.It looks like it’s built to last.It’s lightweight so it can easily be hung up by one person.Oh, best part, on a sunny day it felt at least 10 degrees cooler or more underneath it.

The 16’x20’ Rectangle Shade Sail by Royal Shade, is a great addition to your back yard, you can place it where you need the shade, very easy to unfold and set up after you set up the post, and enjoy the shade you created. Yes I do recommend this product.
