We use these tiles in the cockpit of our sailboat and they work perfectly, and look incredible (and MUCH less expensive than teak)! They need to be replaced about every four (or so) years due to the plastic grating on the bottom deteriorates. Other than that, they’re great.

These are very nice.I did put a Urethane darker stain (American Walnut quick dry) on it and it took great.So now we have a nice furniture look that matches our cedar trim on house.They are tough to lay to get exact flat….I really think I may try to put some sand underneath so they can be adjusted.Just a little ground bump and it gets a little uneven.Took me about four hours to lay a 12 x 20 patio.I did get some landscaping wires to secure them to the ground a little.Helps for under $5 to buy a package of them at your garden store.I used a ground cover sheet that allows water to get through.Very lovely in general.Just wish I could stop the birds from pooping on my patio…they must love to hand out too.
