Set up this free-standing umbrella base on your patio or at any outdoor event without worry. The US Weight Fillable Free Standing Umbrella Base is crafted with a high-density polyethylene shell with UV protection that will not rust, dent, or fade, and can withstand the elements in any weather climate. This stable base must be filled with sand or gravel. Easily transport and set up the base with the removable wheel on the bottom and hand grips for easier mobility. The 20.5″ diameter base features a 14″ high stem that accommodates poles from 1 ½” through 2″ thick. Inside the stem is a plastic post protector for the umbrella to rest on instead of a screw leaving the pole undamaged. The stem features two knobs made of polypropylene that tighten the umbrella securely in place for added stability and support. If used with a patio table, 14″ clearance is needed. All of the steel components are made of grade 304 stainless steel. Grade 304 stainless steel is also used in aerospace engineering and surgical instruments and will not rust.

We just received our umbrella base and it came quickly and was well packed.It looks great and appears to be really well made. The wheel is wide and should easily move. It is fillable so it has a side opening with a round cover so it can be easily filled.We have had a lot of rain so we have not been able to use it yet. I will post more pictures when we have it on the deck.

Easy to setup and holds the umbrella we bought nicely. A funnel made filling the base with sand much easier.

This umbrella stand looks and feels sturdy. The base is heavy plastic, and the screw and washerretaining ring appear to be stainless steel (see photo). I need a rust free base, and this meets the bill.
The only complaint I have is that the fill plug is on the side and it is held in place by snapping it in (see photo). For this price point, I cant expect a threaded cap, though maybe I would pay a little more to get one.
Im going to fill it with pebbles to see how well the plug holds up. Otherwise, I am very happy with it!

Not the most attractive base, but we love it’s stability, especially that it has a metal sleeve (rather than plastic) with two tightening points.
